Identity rebranding of Vancouver City

With its scenic views, mild climate, and very friendly people, Vancouver is known around to the world as both a popular tourist attraction and one of the best places to live. Vancouver city is also one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada with 52 percent of the current living population speaking a first language other than English. Vancouver has hosted 26 international conferences and events, including the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Paralympics. Vancouver is made up of people from diverse cultures backgrounds with varying abilities. Our diversity works, programs, awards, and celebrations are a part of what makes Vancouver inclusive to our residents. — "City of Vancouver"

Identity guide Developments
Before any solid process of this project started, I went to visit the “Unbelievable” exhibit at the Museum of Vancouver, I was really into this vintage, old time feeling during visiting; it inspired me a lot during the logo makings later on. 
My initial three themes are 
>> nature Vancouver
>> nature & urban combined Vancouver
>> modern Vancouver  with legacies from the pass
The third one is the one I mostly interested in and developed.I was doing a lot of tryouts and really married to this of triangular shape because ‘V’ as the capital letter but also a simple shape that can be modern and refreshing.
